Nixon Lund

Nixon is three and a half, and really wants to be 15. He is a sweet boy most of the time, he loves to cuddle with me, and is very nice to Easton. He is very gentle with kids younger than him but boys older than him, that's a different story, it isn't that he is mean but we wants them to wrestle him, and often they have no desire to wrestle him. He also gets very mad, he doesn't express himself very well so he lets it build up and then gets really upset, I have no idea were he gets that from (me, its me), but most the time he is great.
He started pre-school this year at a co-op preschool that is held in different homes. He loves it, if we have a field trip, he gets upset because he wants to go to school. He loves super heroes, anything batman, superman, spider man, and sometimes the hulk, I think he can relate to him! Hahaha
He is very observant, he doesn't know kids names but he always recognizes other kids he knows from play group, meet up group, church, or pre school. And they are all his friends! He loves nursery, a teacher from nursery told me the other day that is so sweet, he will be playing by himself and a bunch of kids will start taking things away and he just sits there and lets them take it. A few weeks ago on the way from church he said a girl in a blue dress with polka dots punched me. So I worriedly asked what did you do, he replied nothing! Relief....Charly wanted more details, "What color were the dots, lots of colors?" NO! Charly they were white!
Nixon loves Charly and always wants to protect her and I love it, but he is even protective over her with me! He never wants her to be left out, if she is at school and he gets something he wants her to have it to. If he gets checks out a book or video at the library he wants to get her some too. I think its funny if a Barbie commercial comes on or something girly he always says charly wants that for her birthday or Christmas. He is very thoughtful, and although Charly can be she isn't as thoughtful as often!

First annual stucki Halloween party?

I Question mark because we hope we do this every year but who knows! This year we decided to have a Halloween party in our new city! We have made some friends and continue meeting really neat people that we want to be our friends, even if they don't!!
One thing I worry about happening is being cliquish, I have felt left out before (now I realize this was my fault but it was a difficult lesson) and my desire is to have everyone feel included, I did learn that is very hard when you have a party at your house, that's a lot of people, but we tried. We invites some people from church and some people that are friends for other groups. We had a great turn out, we visited and chatted. We dressed up as Kellyu and Slater from Saved By The Bell, so this brought up a lot of discussion and trivia via Garin Austin(thank you), and we realized we are old some of our guests didn't know saved by the bell, but it was fun! We played a little catch phrase men vs women very fun!
A very fun part about it is having our husbands, the women have girly gourmet and book club, etc and so our husbands often don't get to socialize and it seems like they enjoyed it! Here are some pictures

I am missing one picture of Stephanie & I but I will update it when I get it! It was a lot of fun hopefully we can do it again next year!

Charly

Charly Anne, my big 5 year old, is great! This year she started school, it is half day and we debated sending her to full day. The first few weeks she cried every time I dropped her off and I would literally have to push her through the door, and feeling like an awful mom. I emailed her teacher about volunteering at school and mentioned that Charly loves school but cries everyday, Mrs. Galluzzo says that as soon as they walk through the door she is fine! So on Friday of the first full week of school she gets in the car and is so sensitive, crying about everything, and then she says I don't want to go back to school anymore! I am an open minded person, I try and not let my past scare me in life now. I was abused as a young girl while at school and one of the parents said that her daughter started saying she didn't want to go to school. SO that is the first thing that came to mind, and it freaked me out! And then I talked to her and I remembered to not over react! And over the few months she has gotten better.
So to sort of back track, Charly started the school year with Mrs. Galluzzo, but due to the amount of kids in full day they needed to move kids around, they divided all the classes into 3, and 1/3 of half day kids were traded with full day students. Charly was moved into Mrs. Musselman's class! To help with the transition (and Charly was still crying at this time) Charly could get a chocolate kiss and so would her other transferring classmates IF Charly did not cry! She did great fortunately. We went from crying, to not crying but no desire to go to the playground, we would just talk about all the backpacks that were lined up and which were cute, or pretty! Then we went into the gate and sat at the tables, and then she went and played one day but only if I held her backpack, she did not want to put it in the pile! She told me we could do a pattern one day she plays and one day she doesn't. We did that for a while and now we usually get there right as the bell is ringing.  And then at 1125 we pick her up in front of the school. She is always excited to see us! Yesterday she was talking about having to hurry on project because she had to go home, so I asked her if she wanted to started going all day. To my surprise she said, "No, I like coming home to spend time with my family." So half day still yeeah! Well sometimes!

Kindergartner, pre-schooler, and 7 month old!

This fall has brought a kid excitement! Charly started kindergarten in August, Nixon started pre-school (it's a co op) we love it, and my little almost 8 month old is so smart!!!! Ha ha
Charly started the school year with Mrs. Galluzzo, in half day, but due to number of kids they moved class around. She is still half day but with Mrs.Musselman now. She loves it, but I h ave to remind myself she is a young kindergartener, she just turned 5 and sometimes she really doesn't want to go to recess or school in the am but she is fine after she walks through the doors! She is doing really well writing her name, and we are working on sounding our words!
Nixon started pre school and loves it, at first he was not thrilled it was at church but now he loves it! He is a funny kid, so aggressive at home, but timid and shy at school or church. He recognizes kids from church and school but often doesn't    remember their names just calls them his friends. He still loves his mommy but also thinks i am his live in maid!
Easton is growing!!!!!! He says da da da and babbles a lot, he stands a lot most of the time he uses things to help him stand, but occasionally will stand in his own, and then puts hand in the air as if he is showing off. Then sits down and laughs!

Time to start this....again... All my thoughts

I have felt a need to blog again, it's something I always want to start but put it off. As I watch my 3 little ones grow and have so many stories I decided I need to save these memories if only in writing! I hope to keep this updated and just put my thoughts down!

We have changed so much in appearance and life since we had Easton, moved, and I quit working! We are trying to use whole, organic foods. This is to be healthy but more because I love my family, my grandmother cooked a meal for my family every night from scratch and we loved it! It helped me feel loved, I didn't know it at the time but I do now! So much bad is in the world and even when family life isn't great having a meal together, homemade was always there. Even if I had a late game I would come home to dinner, sometimes we would eat on the road and Julius and I would come home to food and we would eat again! So with this in mind I love my family and I want to make them dinner, and eventually lunch and breakfast but for now I am working on dinner!

Secondly things get tough especially having 3 children at home and a kid in the military( my brother) you realize how different life is at different stages of life but one thing is ALWAYS the same.... The love of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ! I am constantly reminded of his love and understanding of  our individual situations! I am excited to see my kids grow to serve missions, and be married in the Temple, all 4 of them!

To be continued...

Easton Thomas Stucki, moving, and a new chapter of our lives

We are excited to meet our newest addition to the Stucki family, Easton Thomas Stucki. He was born January 10, 2013 at 2:15 pm. Charly and Nixon were very excited. In addition to a new baby we moved! Mid December Thomas was offered a job in Glendale that was to start immediately, unfortunately I could not move until Easton was born. So for about a month Thomas lived in a hotel 5-6 days a week and come home in between. The week before Easton was born Thomas, his dad, Lund, and his brother, Michael packed our house up. We had reserved a moving truck, we were to pick it up on Sunday, load it, and leave first thing Monday morning. Thomas had to be at work Tuesday morning so we were on a tight schedule with only 2 days to move. So on our way to get the truck the rental facility called to say they did not have he truck, the gentleman was going to Las Vegas to pick it up and call us when he was back, turned out to be 12 hours later at 9 pm.all in all Monday was busy but they did it.
I returned to kingman on Wednesday and left Charly and Nixon with grandma and grandpa Stucki, and went to lake havasu for my last dr appointment. I hadn't seen dr weise in a few weeks due to her schedule so she wanted to make sure we were a go, but she said baby wasn't dropped all the way so she did an ultrasound and baby was turned around and she wasn't sure we could induce but she worked her magic and turned him around! Good hung because i was about to cry! After that I got ready and went to Res Robin for  good bye dinner/ shower, it was great! We live lake havasu and are sad we had to leave! Afterward Rebecca and I went to Kmart and I bought thank you cards, I am really bad at thank you cards but I am determined to do these, may take months but they will get done!!! And then I went to mutual just to say good bye to the young women! Sad....went home Thomas just got there, he worked Wednesday, and we went to Walmart and then checked into the hospital.
Like always I had to be induced, and I was not progressing, annoying! But Thursday Afternoon I had a beautiful baby boy, Easton Thomas Stucki! We are so blessed!
We checked out on Thursday evening, and drove to kingman to meet the family! We stayed till Saturday morning and drive home to Peoria to our New home!!
Once we arrived to our unpacked home we enjoyed spending time together! The Gales came for a visit to see the baby, and we had an opportunity to go the the Russell's home to introduce our new baby! Charly and Nixon love introducing the baby to everyone! Rich, Zoe, and Rose Mary all took turns holding the baby! And then they fed us!! Always a treat to bit have to make dinner!
We didn't have furniture for a little while so we tried to avoid inviting people over but the Gale family really wanted to visit, and we are so glad they did, the kids enjoyed having their cousins over to play and we enjoyed visiting with Sarah! She even made use some meals chicken chili( which has become a family favorite), chicken Alfredo, and something else, this is the problem with blogging so long after the fact you forget so much!
The Sherman's come over a few
Weeks later and brought us papa Murphy's piZza, yum!
And then we got to go see The Candelaria's for Isaiah's birthday! They grow up so fast!
We love living in the Valley, we love being close to family! It was sad to leave grandma and grandpa stucki and Michael, Rochelle, Paityn, Hunter and Brilee, but it's nice that we get to spend more time with the Phoenix family!
We try to visit the Kingman, like for conference and just for random visit on Sundays coming in in Mondays since Thomas has a delayed weekend!
